A 2D fighting game set in an alternative reality based on how the ancient Japanese imagined afterlife. We can choose from a roster of eight characters, each of them has different appearance, weapons and special abilities. Additionally, they all have their unique stories which we discover during the game. The feature that distinguishes this game, developed by an indie studio called DojoGames, is the lack of a health bar.

A science-fiction rhythm game developed Mad Fellows. Aaero does not offer an elaborate narrative layer, focusing on allowing the player to control a small ship hovering above ground and fight the enemies that appear on the screen. The ship’s movements can be controlled with the analog sticks. The player is tasked with following the precise track and sticking to a white ribbon, which boosts the score multiplier.

The second installment in the series of games that combine dynamic brawler and shooter mechanics. The franchise originates from Japan, where it started its life in arcades in 2004. Senko no Ronde 2, on the other hand, was designed for the leading stationary platforms. The game takes you far into the future, where mankind managed to colonize distant galaxies, but has soon split into warring factions. The player takes part in the war for domination in space and commands a flying battle mech.

A funny social game developed by the independent Polish studio Vile Monarch. The title is a spin-off of the well received logic game Oh…Sir!! The Insult Simulator. The title expands on the ideas of its predecessor and the player participates in unusual... insult duels. The player must select invectives he uses against his opponents from a long list and combine them into spectacular combinations. After filling a special bar the player unlocks a critical insult that can eliminate the opponent.

Battlefield 1: In The Name Of The Tsar is the second DLC (and a part of the game's season pass) for the best-selling first-person shooter Battlefield 1. The DLC, just like the base game, was developed by DICE, a studio that for years has been responsible for the Battlefield series. Just like Battlefield 1, the add-on takes place during the World War I.

Construction Simulator 2 takes place in a fictional state in the USA, Westside Plains. In the game we play as an owner of a company that builds roads and buildings. The game is set in an open world, in which you can complete 60 different jobs.

Lost Words is an unusual 2D platform game. It's set inside a young girl's diary and you explore both the text written on the pages and the fantastical lands it describes. An important aspect of the game is solving logic puzzles, done by manipulating words to change the in-game world.

When his calm mind got attacked by nightmares symbolizing everyday frights, two friends stood up to them. Dusty is an embodiment of courage; as for Rusty, she manifests optimism and bears a resemblance to birds.

A classic platform game by indie studio Slipgate. The game was funded via a Kickstarter campaign, and the studio's cooperation with THQ Nordic allowed for releasing it also for consoles. You play as the eponymous twelve-years-old boy, who finds himself in an alternative reality and becomes the protagonist of his own game. He's accompanied by an old living console called Dusty.

Action canceled

An independent MMO survival game based on Unreal Engine 4. The action of Lost Region takes place in a desolated world which is slowly taken over by the ravenous nature. The available landmass was inspired by mountainous regions of North America and consists of 64 square kilometers of diversified landscape. The players are left with a number of duties, including combat, resource gathering, completing procedurally-generated tasks, and exploration.

A platform game by indie studio Matt Makes Games, in which you play as a red-haired girl called Celeste, who lives in a fantasy world. She decides to complete a dangerous challenge of climbing a tall mountain, and you help her to achieve her goal. The game utilizes a side view, and the gameplay focuses on traversing over 300 varied levels, jumping on platforms, and avoiding countless traps. The game features some unusual mechanics, most notably the possibility to climb vertical walls.

Once again, the players are taken to a unique world that combines steampunk with western setting, this time as a female robot looking for her missing friend. The gameplay of SteamWorld Dig 2 doesn’t depart from the groundwork of its predecessor, focusing on digging underground tunnels to reach places of interest and find treasures we can spend to upgrade our equipment.

Since then, the youngster’s life takes a radical turn, and his further fate is uncertain.

The members of the studio used to work for Fishlabs, the creators of the mobile series Galaxy on Fire. Everspace is set in the far future, when humanity has colonized myriads of planetary systems.
