PS4

Lethal VR for PS4 and PC is an arcade game for virtual reality devices. It was developed by Three Fields Entertainment, a studio established in 2014 by Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, founders of Criterion Software, the studio that created the Burnout series and some installments of the Need For Speed franchise. Other games developed by Three Fields Entertainment include Dangerous Golf and an aracade racing game Danger Zone.

Mechanics

We play as an FBI agent whose firearms and melee weapons combat abilities are tested. Action is presented from the first-person perspective. Our character cannot move and has to stay in one place on each arena. There are five types of missions available: Quick Draw, where we have to shoot as fast as possible; Knife throw, where we throw knifes into small round targets; Sharpshooter, where we have to eliminate as many static objects as possible; Rapid fire, where we dual wield guns and try to eliminate our targets as fast as we can (we have to master quick reload and avoid shooting shields that serve as civilians); and Combat, where all our skills are tested on the street that is controlled by criminals.

Our score is marked by the game’s A.I. and then placed on the online ranking.

Technical Aspects

Lethal VR for PS4 and PC uses Unreal Engine 4 and an advanced technology that simulates the physics of 3D objects.
