Senko no Ronde 2 is the second installment in the series of action games with elements of bullet hell shooters and dynamic brawlers. The roots of the series go back to 2004, when the first Senko no Ronde debuted in arcade saloons in Japan. The game in description, on the other hand, was released for stationary platforms, including PC and PS4, and was created by G.rev.
Plot
Senko no Ronde 2 takes players far into future, when mankind managed to colonize a number of galaxies. Soon, however, tensions between rivaling factions escalate into a full-out war, in which the main role is played by flying battle mechs called Landers.
Mechanics
It is one of those machines that the player takes command of in Senko no Ronde 2 for PC and PS4. There are several types of mechs at your disposal, differing in appearance, combat moves and special attacks as well as overall statistics. The core of gameplay is about in-air battles against other mechs, in which you must prove your agility and reflexes. Combat is not exactly easy, especially that the screen is often flooded with a wave of bullets that are hard to avoid. That is why it is necessary to use power-ups scattered on battlefields, as they may sway the odds in your favor.
Technical aspects
Senko no Ronde 2 is kept in stylistics characteristic of anime. Especially eye-catching is the design of individual machines as well as light effects seen in combat.
