The first installment of a series of action games with a view of TPP, in which the main role is played by giant robots. Players take on the role of one of the pilots of modern combat machines and undertake a number of different missions.

Armored Core is the first installment of the mecha battle game series by FromSoftware, later responsible for creating the famous Souls series. The title is a TPP action game.

Story

A world of the future. As a result of global war, the majority of humanity on Earth was destroyed. The difficult conditions on the planet forced the survivors to take refuge under the surface. Over the next few decades, international corporations, constantly competing for influence, gained a strong position. The leading ones are Chrome and Murakumo Millenium. The player takes on the role of a rookie mercenary, one of the Ravens, who undertakes various missions for individual companies and other clients.
