A detective adventure game based on the Full Motion Video (FMV) technology. In Contradiction: Spot the Liar! developed by Baggy Cat, the player gets to follow the adventures of detective Jenks, who is tasked with investigating the Atlas training center, where a number of mysterious events have occurred recently. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the game is a combination of adventure games similar to Myst and classic FMV productions.

An episodic adventure game developed using the FMV technology, regarded obsolete today, but popular in the 1990s. The game was inspired by crime TV series and features two protagonists: detective Lambert, trying to crack a case of mysterious disappearances, and David Newcastle, one of the abducted. The production is an interactive movie, consisting entirely of scenes played by real-life actors, but also features some adventure game mechanics.

A visual novel adventure game developed by Nitroplus and 5pb. Studios. The game is a direct continuation of the original Steins;Gate from 2009. The plot picks off using one of the alternative endings of the predecessor. Okabe Rintaro, a student heartbroken after the tragic death of his friend Kurisu Makise, makes an appointment to a psychiatric health facility.

A colorful, two-dimensional action game from the German studio Lucky Brograms, in which the players concentrate on combining DNA of marine animals. We play as a likeable worm named Sploosh, whose children were abducted by a mighty sea monster as they were taking a carefree bath. Desperate, Sploosh chases after the beast and manages to get inside its body.

An unusual narrative/adventure game developed by [bracket] games and Digerati Distribution. Three Fourths Home tells the story of a young woman named Kelly who is currently on her way to her family home in Nebraska after a years’ absence. We accompany the woman during conversations with her parents and her younger brother, learning more about the complicated relationship she has with them. The game cannot be easily assigned a genre, as we are given a mix of an adventure game and a visual novel.

A humorous classic adventure game full of pop-culture references, developed by the experienced Czech studio Zima Software. The story of Detective Hayseed: Hollywood takes place in the eponymous city of movie-making. Just one day before the Oscars ceremony, the list of winners is stolen. To make things worse, an anonymous perpetrator threatens to detonate a bomb during the show. This is where the eponymous Detective Hayseed steps in, his task being to thwart the blackmailers' evil plan.

An independent Polish game developed by Sleepless Clinic. The players are tasked with taking care of a research team that crash landed on an alien planet covered with ice. The players must make sure that the researchers survive. In order to achieve this goal, they must satisfy their basic needs by providing them with food and rest. They must also fix the broken ship.

A third-person perspective action game with platform genre features developed by Swedish studio Zoink Games as part of EA Originals, an initiative created in order to support independent developers. The game takes place in a mysterious realm inhabited by weird animals of which one the players control. The gameplay mechanics of the game combine solving riddles with classic platform-genre exploration.

Maize was developed by Finish Line Games – an independent studio, which debuted in 2014 with Cel Damage HD. The action of the game takes place on an abandoned American farm, which is located above an underground research facility. The player assumes the role of a corncob that gained self-conciousness and human feelings as a result of a crazy experiment.

Fatigue is a PC-based adventure in which we play the role of a former policeman trying to solve a mysterious murder case. The game is maintained in a climate of horror and offers complex puzzles logic. The game, observed in isometric view, is enriched by survival elements.

The Journeyman Project is the first installment of Agent's adventures cycle no. 5, which, commissioned by the Time Protection Agency, solves world crises with the help of a time vehicle, neutralizing their causes. This is a classic adventure game, in which we observe the action through the eyes of the main character.

(the playable teaser of the ultimately cancelled Silent Hills).

The plot of The Song of Seven is set in a fantasy world of Pria, inhabited by fantastic races and original creatures. The main character is a boy named Kiba. When a mythical evil starts growing in strength, and slowly casts its shadow upon the land, the adolescent protagonist has to leave the village and find a way to deal with the danger.

The plot in The Works of Mercy draws inspiration from such films as The Tenant by Roman Polanski and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. The title was developed by Polish studio Pentacle, whose team members have worked on titles such as The Witcher or Call of Juarez. The player is in control of a man whose family got kidnapped by a psychopath.

The Lion's Song takes place in Austria, in the early 20th century, and the plot in centered around three creative people at the defining moments of their careers: a young composer preparing to create her greatest work, a middle-aged inventor, and a brilliant mathematician working on a groundbreaking equation.

The player is taken to the titular valley, which is a mysterious place located somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. Assuming the role of an unspecified character, the player traverses a set of diversified locations, trying to discover the secrets hidden in the area. The protagonist makes use of the L.E.A.F.

Fated: The Silent Oath was developed by a former writer for the Assassin’s Creed series and focuses on a certain family that faces Ragnarok, which is the Nordic counterpart of the end of days. We assume the role of the father who tries to protect his loved ones from the wrath of gods. The action is shown from the first-person perspective.

The player assumes the role of the titular character who, as a result of mysterious circumstances, has been imprisoned in a school infested by monsters. The girl has to face not only the monsters themselves but also the demons of her past.
