Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

The action of the game is set more or less in the modern times, when the Earth falls victim to an invasion of aliens who want to exterminate all humans. The player assumes the role of an immortal superhero exhibiting supernatural abilities. They are tasked with facing the alien aggressors.

It is noteworthy that the developer and publisher both collaborated on The Bomb DLC for the bestselling game PayDay 2. RAID: World War II is built upon cooperative gameplay mechanics. Players form four-person teams and take part in some of the most important battles of the World War II.

In Morphite, we play as a young woman called Myrah, who embarks on a journey through space. During her adventure the players can visit many randomly generated planets using a a space ship. When we are on the planets' surfaces we can, e.g. jump on platforms, drive various vehicles, solve environmental puzzles, find resources and fight with enemies.

Our job is to hunt down the titular Outsider, a mysterious being that is the source of the supernatural powers used by the series' heroes.

The modern version was developed by MercuryStream Entertainment, creators of games like the well-received Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. As the title may suggest, Samus Aran, an intergalactic bounty hunter who fights with space pirates, is the protagonist here, just like in many other Metroid games.

The only hope for the city comes in form of four heroes who have nothing to lose and try to clear the streets of the metropolis using their fists and more or less improvised weapons. We move towards the right side of the screen while eliminating hordes of enemies, with distinctive and powerful mutated bosses.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - Retribution
