Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is an action game set in the Dishonored game universe. We play as a new protagonist, Billie Lurk. She is an assassin with supernatural powers and the right hand of Daud, one of the series' primary antagonists and the character we played as in two DLCs of the first Dishonored game.

Eurogamer: by Edwin Evans-Thirlwell
A morbid, potent epilogue for Dishonored 2 equipped with new powers, some great locations and some overdue tweaks.
IGN: 8.4 / 10 by Tom Marks
It was wonderfully satisfying to have more Dishonored to play, even if Death of the Outsider doesn't quite meet the high bar Dishonored 2 set in story or mission design.
Metro GameCentral: 8 / 10
The Dishonored saga comes to an elegant, if not entirely satisfying, end with a spin-off adventure that is almost as good as its full price predecessor.
The main pros of the game
- Gameplay Mechanics: The game retains the engaging mechanics of previous Dishonored titles while introducing new powers and abilities, which many players found enjoyable. The gameplay allows for different play styles, whether stealthy or aggressive.
- Worldbuilding and Lore: Players appreciate the rich lore and worldbuilding, with interesting characters and a deeper dive into the story of Billie Lurk and the Outsider.

The main cons of the game
- Short Length: Many reviews highlight the game's brevity, often noting that it feels more like a DLC than a standalone title, with only a few missions and a quick completion time.
- Weak Story: Some players found the plot to be underwhelming or lacking coherence, with criticisms directed at the motivations of characters and the overall narrative structure.
- Absence of Chaos System: The removal of the chaos system from previous games disappointed players who enjoyed the moral implications of their choices affecting the game's outcome.
- Detection Issues: Some players experienced frustration with detection mechanics, feeling they were inconsistent or poorly designed.
The features or elements that are missing from the game according to users
- Expanded Content: Many reviews suggest that the game could have benefited from more missions and a more developed narrative, as it feels too short for the significant events it attempts to cover.
- Boss Fights: Players noted the absence of memorable boss encounters, which could have added depth and excitement to the gameplay.
- Character Development: Some felt that character motivations and developments were not as fleshed out as in previous installments, leading to a less impactful story experience.
- Chaos Mechanics: The lack of a chaos meter or system that tracks player choices in a meaningful way was missed by fans of the series.
Summary
- Overall, while "Dishonored: Death of the Outsider" offers enjoyable gameplay and a satisfying conclusion to the series, it is critiqued for its short length and perceived narrative shortcomings, leading many to recommend waiting for a sale before purchasing.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Description
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for PC, PS4 and XONE is a stand-alone action game set in the Dishonored universe. This time we play not as Corvo Attano, but as a new heroine who stands on the other side of the barricade. The game was developed by Arkane Studios, creators of the Dishonored series.
The Plot
In Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for PC, PS4 and XONE we play as Billie Lurk, an extremely deadly assassin with superhuman powers. She is the right hand of Daud, one of the primary villains of the Disonohred series (we had the chance of playing as him in two DLC for the first installment of the series: Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches). Billy, along with her mentor, decides to hunt down The Outsider, a mysterious being that is the source of the supernatural powers used by the series’ heroes. How we fulfill that task, along with the decisions made during our adventure, will have a crucial impact on the game’s world and the plot.
Death of the Outsider will once again take us to the city of Karnaca known from the second game of the series. This time, we will learn all of its dark secrets. During our adventures, we will visit places like underground fight clubs or cultist hideouts.
Mechanics
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for PC, PS4 and XONE is, just like the previous installments of the series, a first-person action game with RPG and stealth elements. We play as an assassin who uses her skills to eliminate her enemies. Billy uses a knife, pistols, and supernatural powers on her way through the guards-packed locations. We can go through them completely unnoticed, or leave a trial of bodies behind. Leveling up gives us access to new abilities and equipment.
In addition to the main story, the game offers side missions that usually focus on eliminating a given target. After finishing Dishonored: Death of the Outsider we can start the game once again in the Original Game Plus mode where we have access to powers from Dishonored 2.
Technical Aspects
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for PC, PS4 and XONE uses the same game engine as Dishonored 2 and has the same unique art-style.
