The Forest: Energy and stamina The Forest Guide
Last update: 28 December 2022
Energy and stamina are two parameters that are closely related to each other. Energy talks about how relaxed (or exhausted) is the character. It affects directly how much durability the player character has. Stamina, in turn, is a "raw material" used to perform various actions, such as sprinting or fighting. It is reduced along with every such activity. The character's stamina can be checked in the corner of the screen, looking at the blue bar.
What increases energy?
The energy can be increased through the following activities:
- Consuming most of food products (but not spoiled meats).
- Drinking soda water (Soda).
- Resting on a bench, chair or couch - just sit down and wait a moment to let the character regenerates its energy.
- Listening to the music player (Cassette Player) - every second of music renews some amount of energy.
- Sleeping - after a restful night, the character will wake up with renewed energy.
What reduces energy?
The amount of available energy is reduced by:
- Drinking alcohol (Booze).
- Carrying logs of wood (logs) - carrying two logs in the same time exhausts the character much faster.
- Doing a lot of activities - jumping, running a sprint, climbing a rope, etc.
- Using a weapon - the heavier the weapon is, the more tiredness it causes.
- Hypothermia form. When the character is exposed to adverse weather conditions (rain, low temperature), it gradually begins to freeze (the screen begins to become covered with ice). In the beginning it reduces energy, after some time it can lead to death.
