FIFA 23 introduces many new solutions to the game as well as the improved HyperMotion 2 technology, but this is not the end of new features. Another element introduced in FIFA 23 is crossplay - it will allow players to compete with others on different platforms of the same generation.
Compatible groups
Crossplay in FIFA 23 is available for gamers playing on platforms from the same generation.
- First group: PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC versions of FIFA 23.
- Second group: PS4 and Xbox One versions of FIFA 23.
The crossplay feature in FIFA 23 will be enabled by default for all players when running the game for the first time. You will be able to turn this feature off at any time.
Compatible game modes
Below is a list of crossplay compatible game modes:
- FUT Division Rivals (excluding co-op)
- FUT Champions
- FUT Ultimate Draft online,
- FUT Online Friendlies (excluding co-op)
- FUT Play a Friend,
- Online matches,
- Online seasons (excluding cooperation seasons),
- Bundesliga virtual competition mode (available in Germany).
