6. Spider-Man

What's that about? Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man scurries around New York City, fights crime, and saves the innocent.

Games based on comics rarely delight - in recent years, only the fighting game series Injustice and Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series stood out in a very positive way. The Spider-Man universe was not so lucky in terms of this type of adaptation - the last game, which to some extent crept into the consciousness of gamers, was released back in the days of PlayStation 2. Spider-Man created by Insomniac Games (known for creating the Ratchet & Clank and Resistance series) has thankfully changed that, giving Marvel fans exactly the production they've been dreaming of for years.

The most amazing element in the adventures of Peter Parker available on PS4 was the way his movements were mapped. Spider-Man moves with incredible grace, dancing among opponents and easily moving between the largest skyscrapers of New York.

Spinning on a web is, moreover, the best mechanics available in the game – implemented with respect for the laws of physics (as much as we can talk about them in the case of a character capable of such miracles), and at the same time very simple to use, giving enormous freedom and simply - fun. Even if in open-world games you usually avoid looking for collectibles, there is a good chance that here you will chase them just to have an extra excuse to wander between skyscrapers.

Combat has a more standard formula, although thanks to the aforementioned great animations of the protagonist's movement, they also have a charm of their own. However, we do not always have to decide to approach opponents directly - one often gets the chance to eliminate enemies quietly using various, very satisfying spidey tricks. The biggest fans of Spider-Man will surely appreciate the plot, which instead of telling the same story for the hundredth time, known to everyone today, is based on much fresher comic themes and includes such characters as Mr. Negative or Miles Morales.

In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
