3. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The ultimate best PS4 exclusives

Table of Contents

What's that about? Nathan Drake is in trouble - for the last time.

And once again Uncharted appears in our lineup – this time being placed third. The adventures of Nathan Drake dominated this list like no other series, but how can we not praise the subsequent installments of the series, which from the beginning to the end constantly maintains an incredibly high level. A Thief's End is so far the last full-fledged release and at the same time the finale of the story of the main character in the Nathan Drake saga. If we really know a man by how he finishes, Drake is kickass!

In Uncharted 4, we meet Nathan when he has settled down and is living a peaceful life with the love of his life. However, when his long-dead brother appears out of the blue, he once again shows a tendency to get into some real trouble.

The Drakes embark on a journey in which players once again do what they loved about the series – search for valuable artifacts in remote and picturesque corners of the world, solve puzzles, jump over falling rock shelves (now also using a special grappling hook that allows you to reach places Nathan never reached before) and exterminate wholesale amounts of mercenaries. A Thief's End is also timidly experimenting with a formula of more open levels, in this case offering one large and free-to explore location, diversifying journeys through more classic and linear locations. The experiment was definitely a success and brought a breath of fresh air to the series.

The game impresses with a visual setting that squeezes out the last juices from PlayStation 4 and creates in us an involuntary habit of taking screenshots at every step of the most beautiful moments (and these are plentiful). Fabulously, it perfectly closes the story of Drake, constituting, together with the previous three episodes of the series, a complete whole. It was thanks to such games that Sony beat Microsoft in this generation of consoles.

In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
