Hood: Outlaws & Legends – being like Robin Hood. The unexpected hits of 2021

Table of Contents

  1. Why are we waiting: the concept of PvPvE gameplay and the atmosphere of the Middle Ages promises to be quite interesting
  2. Release date: 10 May 2021
  3. Genre: TPP online action game
  4. Platforms: PC Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X

The recent approach to Robin Hood's cinematic adventures ended in a real disaster, but perhaps all the disgust will disappear after playing the latest game by Sumo Digital. This production approaches the English legend quite freely, but in any case, we will be able to impersonate the Sherwood outlaws robbing the rich. Everything is based on character classes – instead of Robin Hood we find Robin – Ranger, Little John is John The Brawler and Marion is Marianne The Hunter. The action takes place in the atmospheric, dark world of the Middle Ages, where open spaces and smaller locations await.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends will offer a specific PvPvE multiplayer mode, i.e. fighting simultaneously with other players and AI-controlled enemies. Two teams will meet in online fights to carry out a successful robbery and to collect valuable loot. Between such actions you will be able to improve your characters' skills, equipment and appearance. A little bit of concern is the game-as-a-service system and continuous updates with new maps and characters, but maybe the creators will find a golden mean to keep players interested and launch with enough content.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – Vermintide with guns

  1. Why are we waiting: the warhammer slaughter of hordes of opponents has a good ring to it
  2. Release date: 2021
  3. Genre: cooperative FPP shooter
  4. Platforms: PC Windows, Xbox Series X

The creators of Warhammer 40,000: Vermintide return with another cooperative shooter set in the same universe. In Darktide, we will face the forces of Chaos in the city of Tertium, once again eliminating hordes of enemies, but this time we will also get guns for white weapons. Battles will therefore not only take place at close range, but also at a distance. The whole thing looks extremely dark and atmospheric, which is helped by a great graphic design.

The core of the game hasn't changed and once again the most fun will be found playing in cooperation with friends, but for lonely people there is also an option to play with computer-controlled companions. A must for fans of the Warhammer universe!
