Table of Contents

  2. Release date: 2021
  3. Genre: mobile hack'n'slash, action RPG
  4. Platforms: iOS, Android

Diablo Immortal had no easy start. It will forever be remembered as one of the most "unwanted" games, for which the brand's biggest fans showed no mercy to the creators. Instead of the long-awaited part four, Blizzard announced a mobile game... This april fools joke may not be such a bad production, after all. The alpha tests of the game evoke, surprisingly, quite favorable feelings. Aside from the need to get used to touch controls, the combat, locations and overall atmosphere of the Diablo series are at a high level.

A readable screen and interface are often emphasised, as even on small screens it does not seem to be overcomplicated during intense battles. Players can count on matchmaking to pass the more difficult dungeons. Besides, Diablo Immortal is based on part three, with all the improvements made over the years. However, alpha tests do not take into account the most important aspect of mobile gaming, i.e. microtransactions. This one element may destroy all the advantages of the mobile Diablo and it will be only after the premiere when we will see if the production, which currently seems good, will remain so.
