12 Minutes – Groundhog day starring numerous celebrities. The unexpected hits of 2021

Table of Contents

  1. Why are we waiting: a plot with a time loop promises to be extremely intriguing
  2. Release date: 2021
  3. Genre: Adventure thriller
  4. Platforms: PC Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

12 Minutes might be one of the most original productions of 2021. The game is set inside a small apartment, and players observe the action from above. The very beginning of the plot sounds so intriguing that we have to know the end of the story. A nice home evening turns into a nightmare when a policeman comes in, accusing the protagonist's wife of murder, and after a short struggle, the main character drops dead! This is where the theme from Groundhog Day kicks in. We wake up twelve minutes earlier and, with the knowledge of what will happen, we experience these events again and again – over and over again until we know the truth.

The casr of the game is one of its strongest points. In 12 Minutes players will get to hear Daisy Ridley, or Rey from Star Wars, James McAvoy known from Split , Glass or the X-Men series and Willem Dafoe (Platoon, Spider-Man, Beyond: Two Souls). The game will revolve around searching for items in the apartment and trying to interact with them in order to achieve further goals. 12 Minutes promises to be an exciting, "small but great" game.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits – Zelda if it was made by Pixar

  1. Why are we waiting: it was supposed to be the starting title for PS5 – maybe it will be the showcase of the new console?
  2. Release date: 2021
  3. Genre: TPP action adventure game
  4. Platforms: PC Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5

Kena: Bridge of Spirits was supposed to be the starting title for PlayStation 5, but its release has been slightly postponed. It is still difficult to predict what will happen with the availability of this equipment next year, so the good news is that this item will also appear on PS4 and PCs. We need to give Kenya some slack, as it is created by the debuting developers from the Ember Lab studio, who were previously involved in film animation, not games.

In the game one assumes the role of titular Kena, whose task will be to discover the mystery of an abandoned village in the middle of an evil forest. We will come to solve environmental puzzles, fight our enemies and collect charming black spirits – Rots. The battles promise to be dynamic – with the use of ranged weapons (bow) as well as weapons for closer contact (magic cane), and the heroine will be aided by little companions. There will also be a lot of magic and exploration of locations filled with numerous secrets. The whole thing looks really impressive, like Pixar's animation, and the creators mentioned that they were inspired by The Legend of Zelda series .
