Which difficulty should I choose in Devil May Cry 5? Devil May Cry 5 guide, walkthrough
Last update: 12 March 2019
Devil May Cry 5 can be easy for those who played previous games from this series or are familiar with other games in this genre. At the beginning of the game, you are asked to choose the difficulty level - Human (easy) or Devil Hunter (normal).
We recommend playing on Devil Hunter - the game will teach you how to play via tutorials. Also, the fights with regular enemies aren't that difficult. You can have problems with some of the bosses, however, the easy difficulty isn't challenging and satisfying. Also, the game has a few trophies/achievements which can only be unlocked on Devil Hunter and higher difficulty levels.
You can change the difficulty level by going to Select Mission tab in the main menu. Remember, if you play on easy and you decide that the game is too easy and you want to play on a harder difficulty, you will have to start the game from the beginning. However, you can go back to the lower difficulty and continue the game from the same moment where you stopped.
You unlock new difficulty levels by beating the game - this means that you will have to complete the game a few times to unlock all the difficulty levels.
