During your diving sessions in Dave the Diver, you may experience problems with finding and reaching Limestone Caves. On this page of our guide, we show where to find them and describe a possible hindrance in the form of underwater currents that may prevent you from fully exploring them. You're going to need to find and explore Limestone Cave for the purpose of certain quests (Gourmet Vincent's Challenge - catching a live White Spotted Jellyfish, and Where the Currents Flow - finding 3 drone parts).

How to find a Limestone Cave?

1. "Limestone Cave" is a name for underwater caves that can be encountered and explored during diving sessions starting from Chapter 1.
2. Look for caves in the central locations of the underwater area. You should start encountering them from 80-100 meters below the sea level. Entering a Limestone Cave will be confirmed with a on-screen message.

You should prepare thoroughly for Limestone Caves expeditions, as Dave's default gear will be insufficient. Here is what you should get in iDiver app:

1. Diving Suit - get at least Lv3 of it, as this version allows safe diving up to 150 meters below.
2. Air Tank - at least Lv2 or Lv3 Air Tank, so you won't need to end the expedition prematurely because of oxygen levels. In Limestone Caves, there are means to regenerate oxygen, but remember that you still need to do the long climb back up to the ship.

How to avoid underwater currents?

1. Underwater currents that push Dave away are one of the largest hindrances when exploring Limestone Caves. They may make it difficult to collect loot and fish, as well as push the hero on spikes and make him receive damage.
2. Fortunately, underwater currents turn on/off at regular intervals. Use the opportunity to move to the next safe location.

Unique fauna and treasure in Limestone Cave

1. Visiting Limestone Caves is associated with several quests from Chapter 1 and 2 of the campaign.

1. The second associated quest is Gourmet Vincent's Challenge, a side quest received in the restaurant. It involves capturing a live specimen of White Spotted Jellyfish. When asked about white jellyfish, Bancho will point to Limestone Cave as the place to find them.
