At the end of the first chapter of Dave the Diver, you have to face the Giant Squid boss. Our guide describes the boss fight in the Under Sunkenship location. You will learn how to avoid contact with the monster's tentacles and how to weaken the Giant Squid and kill it so you can reach the Pink Delivery Box.

Boss fight with Giant Squid in chapter 1

1. Giant Squid is a boss of chapter 1. The huge sea monster initially appears only in cut-scenes. The actual fight happens in The Leahs-chan Rescue main quest.
2. The main character, after obtaining the Gas Cutter, must return to the sunken yellow shipwreck.

1. Use the Gas Cutter on the wreck and complete the mini-game to open the hull. Enter the underwater cave - the Giant Squid's lair.
2. You are now in the Under Sunkenship location - swim to the right. On the way, check chests in which you may find better weapons or gadgets.
3. You will encounter the Giant Squid boss. When trying to approach the Pink Delivery Box, the squid will wake up.

How to kill the boss Giant Squid?

1. The monster can push the main character back forcing you to swim to the right again.
2. On the way, you must watch out for the Giant Squid extending its tentacles. These spots are marked by bubbles in the water. However, you do not know the direction of the attack - it can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal. It's always best to wait at a safe distance and then continue swimming after the tentacle gets hidden.
3. There are oxygen tanks in the cave - use them after depleting your oxygen supplies.

1. Swim up to the squid and fire one or several shots at the monster's big eye. Use a harpoon or a firearm.
2. There are Ammo Boxes nearby that will replenish ammunition.

1. In the next part of the fight, the Giant Squid will cover its eye with one of the tentacles. Maintain a safe distance, because the monster can swing its tentacle. When the eye is exposed, attack it.
2. After killing the Giant Squid, you obtain a Giant Squid Tentacle to prepare a dish, and you can loot the Pink Delivery Box.
