During the first chapter of Dave the Diver, you may encounter a problem with completing the Where the Currents Flow quest. On this guide page, you will find tips on how to unlock the main quest, where to find water currents and how to get to the chests with materials for the drone. How to start the quest?

1. In chapter 1, you have to complete the Signal from the Sea People quest by following the signal in the depths. You will find rocks blocking the way.
2. Upon returning to the boat, you must talk to Cobra about constructing a bomb to blow up the rocks.
3. Cobra needs to retrieve materials for the drone, which are in crates underwater. You unlock a new quest - Where the Currents Flow.

Finding ocean currents

We recommend focusing on improving your equipment, as you will have to do a little bit more exploration. Purchase at least 1 upgrade for:

1. Air Tank - This will increase oxygen supplies.
2. Diving Suit - A better suit will increase the maximum safe diving depth.

1. After diving, swim to the right and then down for about 70-80 meters.
2. Enter the caves where you will notice strong sea currents. They are a signal that you've come to the right place.
3. Sea currents can push the hero, even onto sharp spikes. Use a scooter or swim fast (hold SHIFT) and wait until a given sea current calms down for a moment. Then you can swim.

How to obtain materials to create a drone?

1. In the underwater cave with sea currents there are 3 chests with drone materials. Each of them is marked with a yellow exclamation mark.
2. You have to swim up to the chest and hold SPACE to open it.

You have to obtain 3 quest items:

1. Computer Chip;
2. Motor;
3. Camera Lens.

You can get these items in any order. They are not very heavy, but in case of exceeding the carrying capacity, get rid of unnecessary things from the inventory (e.g. heavy caught fish).

Return to the boat to deliver the parts to Cobra. You will learn that you have to meet him the next day after fixing the drone. You will complete the quest now and receive rewards:

1. Gold x500;
2. Soy Sauce x5;
3. Salt x5.
