Last update: 16 December 2018
This short chapter will give you an idea of what class to choose and what weapons to use in Battlefield 5. You can find here e.g. what to pay attention to when choosing your weapons and what classes and tactics to use. Our guide to Battlefield 5 will help you find your way around the battlefield.
What class to play?
The choice of class depends on two things - your preferences and what your team and unit need at the moment. In this game there are no classes that are better than others - the game has been constructed in such a way that each class is useful. With representatives of each class in your unit and using their skills and gadgets to the maximum, you will be able to gain a lot. If your unit has already covered the most important classes (e.g. one medic and one support class), you can take whatever you want. Make use of the class skills and gadgets - and don't forget that you can build fortifications with any class. If you don't feel like a sniper, you can always take classes that prefer a more close-up approach. Do you have problems with ammunition? Thanks to the support class you can refill your ammunition anytime you want.
Which weapon is better?
Weapons are also selected according to your preferences or to the size of the map (or you can also choose the area of activity on the map and choose your main weapon accordingly). First of all - each class has a balanced weapon at the start, which can be used for fighting at any distance. It is recommended to have weapons for appropriate map size - small maps in TDM mode are suitable for short range weapons (e.g. Suomi for the medic, M30 Drilling for the support), any weapon will be suitable for medium and long range weapons as long as it doesn't have a strong recoil (e.g. KE7, Sten, MP34). When you are looking for a weapon for yourself, try to reach level 4 on each weapon, so that you can install your preferred upgrades and reset them when you like.
