Grand Operations mode in Battlefield 5 Battlefield 5 Guide and Tips
Last update: 10 December 2018
This short chapter is dedicated to the Grand Operations mode in Battlefield 5. Here, you can learn what this mode is about. The guide to Battlefield 5 will enable you to learn more about the Grand Operations mode.
Grand Operations consists of a few stages (days). Each stage is a combination of maps and modes. Every previous stage has impact on the next one, e.g. you can start a new stage with more ammo, supplies and tickets if your side did well in the previous stage.
Stage I - Drop
This stage (day one) requires you to destroy (as an attacker) or defend artillery cannons (as a defender). The attackers start inside of a plane - each of the players can decide when they want to jump out. Their goal is to locate bombs, deliver them to the target and to destroy enemy fortifications. The defenders start near the artillery cannons that are still intact - you can place fortifications, mobile weapons and anti-air cannons near all of these points. These cannons can destroy planes (mobile spawn points) of the attackers - this reduces their efficiency.
Stage 2 - Breaking through the front line
Day two and three divide the map into sectors. Initially, each flag is controlled by the defenders. The attackers must control all flags at the same time in order to unlock the next sector with flags. The defenders have to stop them. Most of the matches end at day three. A draw leads to another stage.
Stage 3 - The final confrontation
Players can't respawn during this stage. To win, one of the sides must lose all its soldiers. Amount of ammunition and number of health depends on your faction's performance in the previous days.
