Breakthrough mode returns under a new name - previously it was known as Operations. The map is divided into sectors that must be conquered by the attackers. The defenders are protecting them since the beginning of the match. In order for the attackers to take them over, they must control all flags simultaneously (usually there are 2 of them). This mode can be encountered mostly while playing the Grand Operations (day 2 or day 2). This mode can be troublesome for the aggressors as all flags are controlled by the opponents at the start. Additionally, the defenders have strong positions.
