Objective A – This flag is in library. Plenty of cover. The best way to get there is to go through narrow paths. You can also use destroyed buildings as a cover.

Objective B – The flag is located between library and cathedral. You can capture this flag while being on the street - you can find some cover there.

Objective C – It is hard to attack this flag. The cathedral has 4 entrances. Plenty of cover, but you can always find enemies there, so be careful.

Objective D – The flag is located between C and D - there are some open areas and cover. It is highly recommended to flank your enemies.

Objective E – The flag is located in the cinema. A lot of cover and possibilities to flank enemies.

This flag is located in old mall. You can find there some cover and some open area. It's easy to destroy by german side.

British target to defend – This flag is located in old mall. You can find there some cover and some open area. It's easy to destroy by german side.

German target to defend – Flag is located next to destroyed bridge. A lot of cover. Can be flanked from canal. Hard to move between points, because it is strongly fortified.

In this chapter you will find the map of Devastation in the Frontlines mode. The chapter contains a general characteristic of the map, map legend, as well as descriptions of flags in terms of available covering spots. The Battlefield 5 game guide will guide you on the battlefield.

Characteristic of the map

Devastation is the destroyed Rotterdam. Here you will be using the terrain, as well as the ruins of collapsed buildings as cover spots. The fights on this map are mainly on short and medium range. Most of the points here overlap with the flags found in the Conquest mode. The rules are simple here - use smoke grenades, help your teammates, use ruins of buildings as cover (you can also construct fortifications at certain locations - especially if you are defending your own targets from the enemy).

After capturing 5 flags by your team, your task will be to destroy 2 points near the enemy base. In the scenario in which the enemy captured 5 flags, your team will be forced to defend its own points near the base. Regardless of the side controlling the flags, the attacking side has a limited amount of tickets to perform the assault. The game ends once all of the points are destroyed or when at the end of the map one of the sides has more defensive points. Playing as part of a team is crucial here - if you do not have it or there is no one alive at the moment, you will need to travel back to the battlefield from the last captured point.

Points to destroy near the German base can be found near the destroyed train bridge. Those points are located far enough from one another that you can attack those points alternatively. The transition between the points is difficult, especially due to the fortifications and barbed wire, heavily deployed at the points. The points to destroy near the British side are a mix of open and enclosed areas. Similarly to the points near the German side, there are numerous possibilities to flank enemies here.
