Witcher Monster Slayer: Weather - does it affect gameplay? Witcher Monster Slayer guide, walkthrough
Last update: 20 July 2021
The Witcher Monster Slayer taps into the location of your device. The map shows monsters, resources and mission objectives. On this page you will learn if weather, time of day, and the number of people in a given area matter.
Weather
On rainy days, more legendary monsters may come out on the streets. However, you should be aware that there may be significantly fewer monsters than on sunny days.
Remember that going out with your phone on a rainy day, let alone in a storm, is a bad idea.
Time of day
Scarier monsters come out at night, this is nothing new. At night you will encounter more of legendary and rare creatures, with high difficulty levels.
It's worth saving stronger oils, potions, and bombs throughout the day to use on nocturnal monsters that will fight you with all they have.
Number of people in the area
The more people in an area, the fewer monsters? Not really. The number and type of monsters are not dependent on the size of the city or area you are in. It can, however, be related to mission objectives. In our case, we mostly ended up in places that were very dense with people.
