Enemies have difficulty levels
Each enemy has their own difficulty level. It's very easy to see. Skulls appear next to the enemy:
- no skull - easy,
- one skull - medium,
- two skulls - hard.
You can also see the difficulty level when you click on an enemy to start a fight.
Choose the right equipment before a fight
There are two types of weapons in the game - silver swords and steel swords. Enemies have different weaknesses - make sure to keep this in mind, as it will make the fights a lot easier.
Pay attention to resources
Resources appear on the map - usually in the form of bushes. Just click them to collect important ingredients needed for crafting. Remember about them, they are very useful during gameplay.
Don't spend items unnecessarily
Before the fight you can choose your equipment, potions, oils and additional items. If you know that the enemy won't be a problem for you, then don't bring unnecessary items with you. For an easy monster, a sword alone will do. Otherwise, you will lose items that you will have to wait for later.
Craft potions and oils
You can create all sorts of items from the resources you collect. It's worth using this mechanic. On separate pages of our guide, we've describes how to make:
- potions,
- oils,
- bombs.
Don't be afraid to test
There is no such thing as a painful death in this game. If you die during combat, you will only lose the items you had with you. Therefore, sometimes it's worth taking the risk and testing new weapons or potions.
Fight every monster you can
On your way, there will be a lot of monsters of different types. Killing each of them will give you 100 experience points. If you meet a new monster, this amount will double. The same goes for rare and legendary opponents - you will earn more points for defeating them.
Remember about critical hits and parrying
Your strikes are very important. You have to pay attention to parrying as it reduces the amount of damage you receive. Thanks to them, you are able to survive longer, and in addition, you do not lose the critical hit charge.
Critical hits are very important, as they allow you to deal a lot of damage to your opponents and knock them off balance for a while.
Clearing the Nemetons
Nemetons are special places where you will fight against 3 monsters. You can't heal or change equipment in-between the fights. You will receive 50 gold coins and over 500 experience points for clearing the ghostly tree.
Invest in new equipment
In the game store, you will find many interesting items like scrolls, potions, or bags. However, the most important ones are swords and armor. These items affect your stats - you can increase your chances in battle and get more experience points.
Don't spend money on minor items
Many things in the store may seem tempting. However, try not to spend money on things you can craft yourself, i.e. potions, oils, or bombs. This is an unnecessary expense. Focus on what you cannot obtain on your own, like a silver sword. Information about the only way to get a silver sword can be found on the Silver sword - how to get it? page.
Prepare your character before doing a quest
Stock up on potions and oils before doing story quests. They can save your skin or significantly accelerate the pace of completing missions. The best thing to do is to gather resources before going on a mission. Then spend a few hours creating various oils, bombs, and potions so you don't run out of them during the fight.
Do not attack challenging monsters
Are there many medium or difficult monsters popping up in your area? Try to avoid fighting them. If you face them, you will only lose valuable potions, bombs and oils. Do not start a fight if you are not sure that you will defeat the opponent. Go somewhere else to find monsters closer to your level.
Clear the area around your house from monsters
Monsters appear very often around the protagonist. You can take advantage of this and earn new experience points very quickly without leaving home. Remember that you can earn a minimum of 100 XP for killing a monster. They respawn every 30 minutes or so. Just keep checking the game and your area.
Remember that you are not alone on the street. Be aware of your surroundings, other people, vehicles, and COVID-19 restrictions.
