Witcher Monster Slayer: Death - what's after that? Witcher Monster Slayer guide, walkthrough
Last update: 22 July 2021
On this page of The Witcher Monster Slayer guide, you will find information about what happens after you lose a battle.
Losing a fight
In The Witcher Monster Slayer, you will encounter different groups of enemies. They differ not only in type, body type or attacks, but also in difficulty level. To judge the difficulty level, just look at your opponent. You can notice a skull next to the monster:
- no skull - easy,
- one skull - medium,
- two skulls - hard.
It is possible to lose a fight. Opponents deal a lot of damage, even if you parry their attacks. Losing a fight doesn't change much, you don't lose experience points, money, or inventory. The opponent will also stay on the map. You can attack it again if you feel strong enough.
Losing items
However, if you lose the fight, you will lose the items you selected before the battle. You will lose the potions, oils, and bombs you took with you to this clash.
Before starting a fight, think carefully about what to take with you. Don't take items that will definitely not be useful, such as an oil that is not used for a particular species.
