Preliminary information
- Our trophy guide concerns Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception Remastered - the remastered version of the third part of the series. Uncharted 3 Remastered was released on the PS4 console as part of the Uncharted: Nathan Drake's Collection.
- All Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception Remastered trophies can be earned in a single player mode. This is due to the fact that the multiplayer mode, that was present in the original PlayStation 3 release, was removed from the remaster.
- You don't have to deal with the trophies of the extended collection in order to unlock the platinum trophy. They are completely optional.
- Most of the trophies described below are also available on PS3. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to unlock the platinum trophy on PlayStation 3, as the game servers have been permanently shut down and as a result you can no longer earn trophies associated with Uncharted 3 multiplayer modes.
Platinum trophy
Trophy type: platinum
How to unlock: Earn all trophies available in Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception Remastered.
Charted! - Easy
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete the game on easy difficulty level without changing the difficulty level.
Comment: Check out the description of the Charted! - Crushing trophy.

Comment: Check out the description of the Charted! - Crushing trophy.
Charted! - Crushing
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Complete the game on crushing difficulty level without changing the difficulty level.
Comment: Crushing difficulty is equivalent to a very high difficulty level, although the game has an even higher setting available (check out the description of the Charted! - Brutal). If you play on PS4, you can choose it right away. In the case of PS3 version, it is necessary to finish the game on hard level of difficulty beforehand. Regardless of the version you have, trophies associated with lower difficulty levels are awarded while you complete specific parts of the game. So you don't have to complete the game separately on each level of difficulty, but you can choose the highest available difficulty level right away.
While playing on the crushing difficulty level Drake can die much easier, as enemies deal much more damage. Avoid standing in the middle of open spaces or areas. Use cover and any type of obstacles when possible, keep exploring your environment in search of the best weapons, and always focus on eliminating the elite enemies (for example, equipped with a sniper rifle, shotguns or heavy armor), which pose the greatest threat to the hero.

Master Fortune Hunter
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Find 100 treasures.
Comment: Treasures are the main form of collectibles in Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception. We have described their location and whereabouts in a separate chapter of our guide - Treasures.
If you have missed a treasure while playing the main campaign, you can use the 'select chapter option' to get to it without having to restart the whole story. Also, while switching between the chapters in the 'select chapter' menu, you can notice that game displays the status of all collected treasures associated with a particular level. This will allow you to easily identify chapters that you have already completed in 100%.
Relic Finder
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Find the Strange Relic.
Comment: Strange Relic is a unique collectible / treasure. You can find this item in the fourth chapter of the game - see the Treasures section of our guide (Bonus Treasure - Strange Relic).
Master Thief Collection
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Find all treasures and strange relic.
Comment: You simply have to fulfill the objectives of such trophies as Master Fortune Hunter (find 100 treasures) and Relic Finder (find the Strange Relic).
20 Headshots
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 20 Enemies with Headshots.
Comment: Check out our description of the 100 Headshots trophy.
100 Headshots
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 100 Enemies with Headshots.
Comment: Try to eliminate as many enemies as possible with headshots. You don't have to earn this achievement in your first game run. All kills are instantly summed up, so even after the campaign is over, you can re-play any chapter you like to 'collect' the missing amount of headshots. It is best to choose the initial chapters where you won't encounter heavy armored enemies that often.
Useful note - If you play on a lower difficulty level, the game will help you to aim at your opponents. However, always make sure that you aim at the head or at another vulnerable part of the body (like chest).
Headshot Expert
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 5 enemies in a row with headshots.
Comment: The best option is to play the game on low level of difficulty, so you won't have to be afraid of enemy attacks. This will allow you to come out of hiding and precisely aim at your opponents' heads - shoot them whenever they stop moving. If you make a mistake and hit your opponent in another part of the body, load the last checkpoint and try again.
Bare-knuckle Brawler
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat 20 Enemies with Hand-to-Hand Combat.
Comment: Check out the description of the Bare-knuckle Slugger trophy.
Bare-knuckle Slugger
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat 50 Enemies with Hand-to-Hand Combat.
Comment: The most important information is that you don't have to defeat your enemies only in direct fistfights. Other enemy eliminations that do not involve the use of firearms or explosives are also counted. These could be, for example, stealth attacks.
If you want to gain the missing eliminations in an easy way, you can replay chapter 1, where you take part in a big bar fight.
Dyno-Might Master
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Kill 4 enemies with one explosion.
Comment: You can use a grenade launcher, grenades or rocket launcher to get this trophy. Look for opportunities when the enemies are close to each other and cause an explosion before they run out.
Hangman
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 20 enemies with gunfire while hanging.
Comment: You can try to get this trophy in many locations where there are opponents. Just make sure you don't climb onto the ledge prematurely when you notice your enemies. If you like a specific spot, then you can load the last checkpoint after killing all surrounding enemies and deal with them again. Subsequent kills are automatically counted up.
Grenade Hangman
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 10 enemies with grenades while hanging.
Comment: This is a modified version of the Hangman trophy described above. Instead of using firearms to eliminate enemies, you must use grenades. Keep in mind that you can always load the last checkpoint. It can be very useful after you will run out of grenades.
Run-and-Gunner
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 20 enemies by shooting from the hip (without aiming).
Comment: This is a very simple trophy. Remember not to press the aim button. Only press the fire button. You can kill people or monsters in order to get the trophy.
Run-and-Gunner
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 20 Enemies by Shooting from the Hip (without aiming).
Comment: Be sure to play at a low level of difficulty, because Nate must be able to withstand longer gunfire damage from opponents. You can earn this trophy quite easily in chapter 6 in the place where the first mercenaries will appear in the chateau.
The scheme is simple:
- attack and kill opponent number 1 in melee combat
- attack and kill opponent number 2 by using firearms
- attack and kill opponent number 3 in melee combat
- attack and kill opponent number 4 by using firearms
- attack and kill opponent number 5 in melee combat
- attack and kill opponent number 6 by using firearms
- attack and kill opponent number 7 in melee combat
- attack and kill opponent number 8 by using firearms
- attack and kill opponent number 9 in melee combat
- attack and kill opponent number 10 by using firearms
Important note - If Drake gets more severe damage at some point and is on the verge of death, quickly seek cover and wait for the hero to return to full health. You don't have to hurry to eliminate consecutive enemies. All that matters is that they should die in the correct way.
Master Ninja
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 50 enemies by melee attacking from behind.
Comment: This trophy consists in performing silent assassinations in locations where you can sneak around. This concerns situations in which enemies have not yet detected the hero and do not attack him - we recommend chapter 8. When you find yourself behind the enemy's back, press the Square to perform a surprise attack.
Of course, you can make things much easier by loading an earlier checkpoint after each successful stealth elimination (or a series of stealth kills). The game will count all subsequent stealth eliminations, even if the same enemies are being killed.
Survivor
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Kill 75 enemies in a row without dying.
Comment: This is one of the most difficult trophies. While obtaining this trophy, you can't cheat by loading the last checkpoint after successful elimination of a few enemies. Change the difficulty level to easy in order to reduce the risk of death.
- You have to earn the trophy in the normal way, that is, by completing the next few chapters without dying. You may be forced to play 2 or 3 chapters in a single run to obtain the trophy.
- The game does not allow you to let Drake die regardless of the circumstances of Drake's death. Also, you can't die, for example, by falling into a chasm or activating a trap.
Side Arm Master
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat 30 Enemies in a Row with Your Side Arm.
Comment: You can earn this trophy in combination with the Survivor trophy, but it's not mandatory.
Play the initial chapters of the campaign to earn this trophy, because you won't encounter heavy armored enemies. Also, make sure to play on a low difficulty level, so that enemies can die much faster.
Reload Master
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat 50 enemies in a row without using the automatic reloading.
Comment: You can earn this trophy in combination with the Survivor trophy, but it's not mandatory.
You can't have your weapon automatically reloaded by the hero when the magazine is empty. It is best to use any machine gun with a large magazine. Shoot in short bursts and manually reload the weapon as often as possible by pressing R1. Keep this style of play and avoid long series that could empty your weapon's magazine in a few seconds.
Blindfire Marksman
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat 20 opponents by shooting blindly while in cover (without aiming).
Comment: Look for opportunities to kill your opponents in this way in all locations where you fight at short distances and/or in tight spaces. Once behind a cover, simply press R2 button without holding down L2 button to lean out from behind the cover and aim. We recommend using machine guns and playing at a low level of difficulty, so the enemies can die faster.
Throwback
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Defeat 10 enemies with thrown-back grenades.
Comment: Game will always notify you that a grenade has landed near Drake. Quickly reach the grenade and press Triangle button. It's important to rotate the camera towards the opponent who threw the grenade. Otherwise Drake will throw-back the grenade in the wrong place and the action may not be counted as correct. Of course, you can rely on the method of loading the last checkpoint if you find yourself in some extremely convenient place to throw-back grenades.
Throwback Master
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Throw back a grenade and defeat 2 enemies at once.
Comment: This is a more difficult version of the Throwback trophy described above. You must not only flawlessly throw-back a grenade, but also make sure that another enemy will die in addition to the one who threw the grenade.
There's a chance that you'll earn the trophy without any special effort. Otherwise, try it out in chapter 22 or any other chapter in which there are groups of opponents equipped with grenades. Also, make sure to play on a low level of difficulty, so the grenade can kill enemies even if it doesn't land right next to them.
He's Gonna Need a Sturgeon
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Hit 3 enemies with fish in the market.
Comment: You can earn this trophy when you play chapter 10. When Nate gets to the marketplace, he can grab some fish from the market stalls and use them to strike opponents (press the Square button). Launch fish attacks only on common enemies.
Riot Rocker
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 5 riot shield enemies by running over their shield.
Comment: You can earn this trophy in any chapter where you may encounter enemies with shields, for example, in chapter 15. Start running towards the enemy. Press Square for the first time to run through enemy's shield and Square for the second time to attack your opponent and kill him once you get behind his back. You can load the last checkpoint after each successful action and fight the same opponent equipped with shield even five times.
Land Shark
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 20 enemies while swimming.
Comment: You can obtain this trophy in any chapter where you can jump in the water. Nate can fire a gun and throw grenades while swimming. Use these methods to eliminate enemies standing on shore.
Brute Beater
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Successfully counter all of a brute's damage-giving attacks.
Comment: A brute is a heavier enemy that will strike you during a hand-to-hand combat. Press Triangle or Circle buttons to avoid brute's attacks. If you make a mistake and get hit, you can load the last checkpoint and try again.
Marco Solo
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Play in the swimming pool on the cruise ship.
Comment: You can get this trophy while playing the fourteenth chapter. Look for a pool to jump in. Don't leave the pool until you initiate a conversation between the characters. Then, you will earn the trophy.
30 Kills: Mk-NDI
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Kill 30 enemies with Mk-NDI grenades.
Comment: This is the first of 12 trophies which consist in eliminating enemies with specific weapons and gadgets. The scheme is identical for each trophy:
- Keep playing until you find or receive a particular weapon / gadget.
- Use the new weapon/gadget to kill your enemies from now on.
- If you want to quickly increase the value of kill counter then deliberately die or load the last checkpoint after eliminating enemies with a particular weapon / gadget. After reloading or resuming the game, you can kill the same opponents again. All eliminations with a given weapon / gadget are automatically counted.

Photobomb
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Explore the photo mode.
Comment: Photo mode is only available on PlayStation 4 version and is disabled by default. You have to enter game options and select the Enable Photo Mode option to activate it. From this point on, you can press the down directional button at any time to activate the Photo Mode.
Outrun the Flames
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Complete the 'Chapter 7 - Stay in the Light' in less than 9 minutes 30 seconds.
Comment: It's one of the three trophies that require you to do a speedrun. Become interested in it after completing the game and select chapter 7 in speedrun mode - a time counter will be visible on your screen. Change the difficulty level to easy.
Obtaining this trophy can cause you a lot of trouble. You have to flawlessly play out the scenes of escaping from spiders and getting out of the burning property. In the case of the latter, do not waste too much time on fighting your opponents. If you make too many mistakes in any section or lose a lot of time to find your route consider loading the previous checkpoint.
Catch That Plane!
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Beat 'Chapter 16 - One Shot at This' in less than 12 minutes.
Comment: It's one of the three trophies that require you to do a speedrun. Become interested in it after completing the game and select chapter 16 in speedrun mode - a time counter will be visible on your screen. Change the difficulty level to easy.
There's a lot of fighting in chapter sixteen. Use strong weapons and don't waste your time on firing from behind a cover. Fortunately, by setting a low level of difficulty, you can make aggressive maneuvers and shoot enemies while running towards them or standing in the open space.
My Horse is Faster
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete 'Chapter 20 - Caravan' in less than 15 minutes.
Comment: It's one of the three trophies that require you to do a speedrun. Become interested in it after completing the game and select chapter 20 in speedrun mode - a time counter will be visible on your screen. Change the difficulty level to easy.
The middle part of this stage is most problematic. You have to jump on the next vehicles without any mistakes, and you can't afford to have any breaks or to fall off the machine. Also, Nate cannot die as a result of an explosion. In the final part of the chapter, don't try to hide in a sandstorm, but reach out to other enemies quickly and attack them aggressively.
Charted! - Brutal
Note - This is one of the Extended Collection DLC trophies available in Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception Remastered (PS4). It's not a required to unlock the platinum trophy.
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Finish the game on Brutal without changing the difficulty.
Comment: Brutal is the name of the highest difficulty level. You have to be very careful while playing on this difficulty level (the hero may die after just one or several enemy attacks) and remember to save ammo (try to kill your enemies by aiming at their heads).

Comment: It concerns chapter 22. Select a normal difficulty level and simply play more carefully in order to avoid being hit and receiving any other serious injuries. In particular, watch out for the sections with collapsing Atlantis elements and for a duel with the final boss - try to play it out flawlessly (make no mistake during quick time events).
The Fat and the Furious Yemen Drifter
Note - This is one of the Extended Collection DLC trophies available in Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception Remastered (PS4). It's not a required to unlock the platinum trophy.
Trophy type: brown
How to unlock: Complete a continuous speed run as Doughnut Drake.
Comment: To complete this trophy you must select the Continuous Speed Run game mode and activate the Doughnut Drake in the Bonus menu. Comment: You must select continuous Speed Run from the main menu. Additionally, set a low difficulty level so you can skip some fights or just win them much faster. If you get lost or waste too much time on a puzzle, then load the last checkpoint to repeat this particular stage of the game.
