This page of the guide contains the walkthrough of chapter 3 of Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception. The chapter is titled Second-Story Work and is the second one in which you will be controlling a young Drake. During the first part of this stage, teenage Nate tries to sneak into the museum. In the second part of the level, you need to complete an escape sequence, during which you will be forced to follow a linear path.
In the evening, our goal is to get into the museum. From the canopy [1] on which we are located, jump to the rope in front of us and climb it to reach the roof of the museum.
Jump onto the roof of the staircase [1] located on the right side, then get on the terrace [2] and reach its end.
On the left we will get to the boards based on the fence - use them to jump to the lamps [1]. The next jump will be unsuccessful, but luckily we will land on the roof, from which we will be able to get to the open window of the museum [2].
Once we are inside the museum, we need to open the cabinet in the middle of the room with the key [1]. Once the cut-scene is over, we need to run from the men in black.
First of all, we climb the stairs and overcome the closed doors by jumping through the window located above them [1]. Go through the corridor, up another staircase, and out onto the roof through a door. By squeezing through the cage's fence, we must escape the attackers by pressing the button - its symbol will appear in the corner of the screen [2].
Once we get out of the oppression, jump on the pitched roof [1] and run forward. The way will be blocked by men in black. Moments before reaching them, we need to turn right onto a small balcony, from which we jump to the neighboring building [2].
We run along the balcony to the right and climb higher by using the platform [1]. We get to the balconies through the wall on the right and continue to the end of the route. Here we will find another platform [2] through which we will get to the top of the building.
We run to the other side of the roof and jump over to the canopy of balconies [1]. Running along a small roof, we reach platforms attached to the walls of buildings [2].
We need to jump over them to the end of the building in front of us, and climb up to the place where the balustrade is damaged [1]. This must be done quickly, as the platforms will break after a short while.
After entering the building, run to its end and jump to the next one [1]. Turn left and use the platform to get on the roof [2], where Sullivan will be fighting with one of the men chasing us.
Jumping through the roofs, we will get into a dead end. Here we must climb higher along the closed windows decorated with balustrades [1].
Escaping further ahead, jump to the next building and, by the twist of fate, begin to slide down quickly [1]. Press the button that appears in the corner of the screen to land in someone's apartment [2].
We run out of the room and go through the corridor to find ourselves in the living room of the host obviously dissatisfied with our visit. Avoid the man by running in a wide arc (behind the sofa) and run into the room with the open window [1], through which you must now jump. Going further ahead we will see Sullivan running parallel to us. Once we reach the end of the terrace, we go through the small elevation and climb up the wall [2].
Jump from the roof onto the lamp [1] and from it directly onto the glass skylight, which must be lowered before the man chasing us falls on it. Running forward, we pass pots with plants and jump onto the next building [2].
When our escape route is blocked by another man in black [1], we jump over the railing on the left side. This will end the escape and, after watching through the cut-scene, we will return to the present.
