- Conquer and hold 6 provinces, including: Insubria, Liguria, Narbonensis, Gergovia, Lutetia, Pictavis
- Capture 28 settlements
- Maintain 80 units
First steps
You should start your game from opening diplomacy window. The Aedui, the Allobroges, the Vocontii, and the Massalia are friendly toward you, so you should seek to establish diplomatic relations with them. It is especially beneficial to ally with the Allobroges who are the least treacherous of all. You may also try to broker a non-aggression pact with the Volcae and the Ruteni to buy more time for Narbo Martius.
Your first move should be attacking Octodurum with Julius Caesar's army. This should eliminate the Helvetii from play, thus ending one threat. In the meantime you should develop Repay Debts technology (Politics - Promote Crassus) and hire several dignitaries. Some of them may use their skills to speed up province development, however, one should take actions against other nations by Romanising the Celts before your armies come. Apart from that, you should recruit an army in Insubria - this will be useful for defending your lands and in the future for conquering Turicum (and thus the entire nation of Helvetii). This province will serve as a wall against a barbaric invasion from the north, so you should take care of proper fortifying the region and training the local army.
It is time to help Narbonensis. For this you will need a third legion, which may be recruited in Insubria or Liguria. Now move it to Narbo Martius (optionally by sea). Your goal is to conquer the entire province, which means eliminating the Volcae, the Cadurci, and the Rutenii. Now you can consolidate your territory by conquering the entire Transapina - Massalia may be a good trade partner, but keeping an uncertain ally in your hinterland is very risky.
Things should be easier from now on. Recruit more legions and conquer Aquitania (to secure your western borders). If the Gauls in Lugdunensis rise against you, eliminate them too. Now you may freely head north - Gergovia, Pictavis and ultimately Lutetia should easily fall into your hand.
