Marin
During the mission with the sleeping walrus, you will have the opportunity to take Marin for a walk around the island. You can make further interactions with her:
- Take her to the cliff on the west side of the beach. In the Gameboy version, a Photographer came and took a picture of you two. On the Nintendo Switch version, Marin will just say that the cliff will be your secret place.
- Dig with a shovel and Marin will say 'Great! Dig it! Dig it! Dig to the center of the Eart!'
- Jump to the well in Mabe Village and she will land on you, then she will say 'Oh! I'm sorry! Are you okay?'
- In Mabe Village, keep attacking the chickens. The first 20 times you hit them Marin will say 'Poor chicken. Stop that! You're hurting the chicken.' If you hit the chicken another 20 times, she will say 'Ha ha ha! Do it! Do it! Do it moooore! Hunh? No, it's nothing... I didn't mean it.'
- Look in the drawer inside her house and she will say 'Do you always look in other people's drawers?!'
- Smash a vase and she will say 'Ahh! Ahh! You are a bad boy.'
- Play on your Ocarina and ask her what she thinks about it. Marin will say 'Not very good.... Eh? What? Did I say something? No, you're hearing things....'
- Take her to the Trendy Game Shop. Let her play and she will pick up the owner with the claw machine.
- Go into a dungeon and she will say 'Eh? You want me to go in there? No, I think I'll wait here... take care of yourself.'
- Come out of the dungeon when you are almost dead and she'll say 'EEEK! You're hurt! Arrrgh! Don't be so reckless!'
- Take her to Animal Village and talk to the Chief Bear, he will say 'Hi! Ho! Little Marin! Welcome! Oh shucks! You are here too... Sorry.'
Listening to Marin's statement on the beach, you will learn that she always wanted to be a seagull. At the end of the game, when you wake up the Wind Fish and the whole island disappears, a seagull will fly over the sky. Then Marin's face will appear and you will hear her sing.
Other secrets
- Wanna know a cool trick? You can do it only if you have Power Bracelet, Flying Rooster and Boomerang. Throw the boomerang and quickly grab the rooster. You will be flying while the boomerang circles around you. You can now fly around enemies and the boomerang will attack them.
- You can fight with a Shadow Link, which can only be accessed by the Link Amiibo in the Dungeon Builder Mode.
- Sprinkle some Magic Powder on Gibdos, and the will transform into weak Stalfos.
- Sprinkle some Magic Powder on Sparks, and they will transform into fairies.
- When you have BowWow following you, take him to Kiki in Ukuku Prairie. They will start fighting. When you take BowWow to Toronbo Shores he will eat the monkey on the tree.
- If you attack a mutt in Mabe Village, he will bite you.
- If you have Pegasus Boots you can dash into trees. Sometimes you can shake bombs or fairies out of them.
