Blaino | Boss in Link's Awakening
On this page of the guide to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, you will find a short description about the fight with Blaino.
Blaino is a Mini-Boss form Turtle Rock. You can only defeat him with your sword, but Blaino is capable of blocking your attacks with his gloves, making it impossible to attack him head-on. Being punched by Blaino sends you back to the entrance of Turtle Rock.
The best way to defeat him is to avoid his charges and use a spin attack from behind. After the victory, you will gain access to a chamber with the Magic Rod.
