The General Surgery is the place where patients with general problems, more dire than those in the emergency ward, are directed. This ward will be able to perform complex operations.
Rooms belonging to the clinic: waiting room, restroom, general surgery office, surgery lab. It is also worth to having a common room and a cleaning closet to increase the prestige of the ward. Also invaluable is the reception, which increases the speed of diagnosis of patients.
The rooms that also belong to the ward but are used for patient hospitalization are: On-Call room, nurse station, diagnostic unit, regular ward, high dependency unit - HDU, operating room, cardiography unit, sonography unit.
Staff needed to operate the clinic: doctors with the specialization of General Surgery and technician with the specialization in Biochemistry.
Staff needed for the General Surgery ward: doctors with General Surgery specialization (minimum 3 for day shift, 1 for night shift), nurses with Patient Care specialization (minimum 3 for day shift, 1 for night shift), surgeons with Operative Surgery (minimum 1 for day shift), technicians with Cardiology and USG specialization, anesthesiologists - Anesthesiology (minimum 1) and a nurse specializing in Medical Surgery (minimum 1 for day shift) to assist with surgeries. It is also worth having more doctors and nurses, as sometimes the ward can be heavily burdened.
