General information
Briefly:
- Available instantly;
- It stands next to the house, on the uncle's farm;
- Uses diesel or fuel oil;
- Can tow or lift other vehicles;
- You need it to carry firewood.
The Kekmet tractor is accessible immediately at the start of the game - you will find it on your uncle's farm, near his home. When you go out on the terrace, head towards the buildings and a large orange canopy. There, you will find a woodshed and the tractor parked right next to the trailer. The trailer will come in handy when you decide to earn some money by transporting timber. The tractor itself can be used as a means of transportation to the city and shop and to transport the hidden wheels for Satsuma.
Its unique feature is a fork in the front. It will be useful in lifting up vehicles. Kekmet can also tow vehicle.
A diesel canister is in the corner, right next to the parked Kekmet - take it to. Kekmet has a very capacious tank which is enough to have an almost double full tour around the ma. It also has an indicator informing you how much fuel you have left.
How to start Kekmet tractor?
The Kekmet tractor is quite easy to drive, especially since its slow speed and great off-road capabilities allow you to avoid accidents on the road. Compared to regular cars, it has a little more levers and switches in the cockpit - it's worth knowing their usage.
Press the left mouse button to open the door and enter the cabin. When you see the ENTER DRIVING MODE symbol, press ENTER to enter driving mode. Hold the left mouse button on the IGNITION button to start the engine.
If you are going to just ride on dirt and asphalt roads, the next step should be to lift the front fork up. Otherwise, you will get blocked on uneven terrain. On the right, you have FRONT HYDRAULICS lever - the left mouse button raises the fork, the right drops down.
To start, press the G key to shift the gear up (press B to reduce the gear). Note - unlike cars, you first have to increase the gear and then add gas - otherwise, the engine will turn off.
Kekmet has two modes of transmission (RANGE SELECTOR) - low and high. You will find the related lever on the right side of the chair.
- Use LOW when starting off, slow off-road driving, driving up a hill;
- Switch to HIGH when you drive on a moderately smooth road or asphalt.
Both HIGH and LOW modes have even higher gear ratios - change them along with increasing speed. In addition to them, there is a gear ratio N (neutral) and R (reverse).
When using Kekmet, you should use the PARKING BRAKE lever - you will find it to the left of the seat. The tractor loves to roll at different angles, causing it to get stuck. Use the parking brake before each exit.
The cabin also has a switch for WIPERS (key K), lighting (L) and a DIFF LOCK lever. Its use will be useful when maneuvering in rough terrain, when the wheels have different contact with the ground.
The fuel level indicator is extremely useful. They are the lower bars on the dial. Check them from time to time to know when to refuel.
Additional features of Kekmet tractor - lifting, towing
Thanks to its power and additional equipment, the Kekmet tractor can be used as a jack or a tow truck. By manipulating the FRONT HYDRAULICS lever, we can lift a car with the fork (by placing it at the right heigh beforehand) by driving it through the rear window directly under the roof of the car. Then, we lift it a little bit by pressing the left mouse button on the lever. You can now either move everything or work more comfortably under the body.
With the help of the Kekmet tractor, we can also tow immobilized vehicles. TOWING HOOK points are both in the front and in the back of the tractor. Click on them to connect the hook or disconnect it by clicking REMOVE.
How to refuel Kekmet tractor?
The Kekmet tractor uses diesel or fuel oil. Both can be refueled at gas stations in the town near the shop. The filling unit is on the right, so drive up to the distributor from the right side because the hose is rather short and you won't be able to wrap it around the tractor to get to the opposite side.
Unscrew the filler cap with the mouse wheel - you will find it at the bottom, next to the front edge of the door. Click on the pump gun and then on the filling unit. The white indicator will inform you about the fuel level. You can pay for fuel by going to the cash register in the shop.
Bring the pump gun to the filling unit and press to fill the tank.
