Has the release of My Summer Car 1.0 convinced you to taste life in virtual Finland? If so, you probably have many questions because numerous game mechanics are unintuitive and hard to understand. A perfect example is Driving Mode. So, how to enter it?

How to enter driving mode in My Summer Car (MSC)

In order to ride a particular vehicle, you must enter driving mode. So, how to do that? It’s pretty simple. First you must go into the vehicle cabin and look towards the steering wheel. At some point, you will see “Enter Driving Mode”. Now you should click on the “vehicle interaction” button. The default key is Enter, but you can change it in the escape menu in “Player Controls” tab.

Of course, the aforementioned description works when we are talking about vehicles that have an interior of some kind. So this applies, for example, to a tractor, a blue van or a Satsuma.

The problem begins when you want to run the Jonnez ES. This bike really requires patience to start. You have to stand behind the vehicle and aim more or less at the seat. Otherwise, the prompt about entering the driving mode will not appear. You have to move the camera to find the right spot. Even when you do that, there are some additional steps before you will be able to start the vehicle.

Finally, if you have problems with different mechanics, we encourage you to read our guide. There you will find a lot of useful information about My Summer Car.
