The great thing about early access games is that we get to closely follow their development and see how well the developers respond to community feedback. In the case of My Summer Car, it took over eight years for the game to reach its final and polished state. Although the game is primarily a humorous and quirky simulator, some mechanics can occasionally be challenging to grasp. For those who find certain aspects tricky, we've created a helpful guide. But for now, let’s focus on how to start the bike, which becomes available right from the start of the game.

How to start a bike in My Summer Car (MSC)

The minibike, modeled after the Suzuki PV, can be found beside the garage and should come with some fuel in it. Before taking it for a spin, make sure to grab the helmet from the desk in your room. Wearing it not only protects you from serious injuries and bees but also helps you avoid trouble with the police. At any checkpoint, officers will stop you and issue a fine if you’re not wearing one.

Here's how to start the bike:

  1. Make sure that fuel tap (on the left side of the bike) is positioned upward.
  2. Get on the bike and activate drive mode by pressing Enter on your keyboard.
  3. Lift the kickstand on the left side of the bike.
  4. Find the kickstarter on the right side and push it down a few (or many) times until the engine starts running.
  5. Now you can control it like any other vehicle in the game, even a tractor.

So, all that’s left is to enjoy the full release of My Summer Car game and look forward to the arrival of My Winter Car!

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
