Mounting the engine is one of the more difficult parts of playing My Summer Car. This guide page explains how to use the jack, how to place the finished engine in the body of the Satsuma car, and how to connect the engine and gearbox to the rest of the vehicle.

We show how to use the car jack to insert the engine into the body and what parts to connect to make everything work as it should. How to prepare to install the engine?

Note - before inserting the engine into the body, you should install: CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE LINING and FUEL STRAINER. This can be done later, but the bolts will be much more difficult to see.

Installation of the listed parts is described below.

Fuel Strainer, Brake Master Cylinder and Clutch Master Cylinder

FUEL STRAINER goes on the back of the left wall, tightened with one 8 mm nut.

Brake Lining

BRAKE LINING goes to the rear wall of the engine compartment. You need to find seven bolts and one on each wheel. All have a 7 mm size.

How to use a jack to put the engine in the body?

To install the engine, you will need the blue mini crane found in the garage. Prepare in advance the size 10 wrench.

Place the engine on the floor under the grip and use HOIST HANDLE to lower the grip to about half the height of the engine structure. When you reach the correct position, you will see two green screws. Tighten them with the size 10 wrench.

Now, raise the engine so it can hang over the compartment in the car. Move it above the body and slowly lower.

While you are lowering the engine, look for the green bolts. Two are in the front, in the corner of the sled, and one in the back. All of them are 11mm size.

If you see only one bolt in the front, try to move the crane a little bit or slightly lower or raise the engine.

Electrics, Air Filter and Exhaust Pipe

Radiator and Radiator Hoses

Then, install the RADIATOR in front of the engine compartment. Secure it with four 7mm bolts.

Inspection Cover

Half Shaft, Gear Linkage and Gear Stick

The next elements require easy access to the chassis. Crouch, go to the push mode (J key) and push the car into the garage on the pit. You can easily push it from the side to adjust the direction.

The FUEL TANK goes under the trunk. Look for seven 11mm bolts and one 12mm.
