Chapters

Act 1

Act 1 of Gears 5 is divided into 4 chapters:

1. Shot in the Dark
2. Diplomacy
3. This is War
4. The Tide Turns

The first act shouldn't give you too many problems. It will teach you about the controls, how to use objects and different types of weapons.

Act 2

Act 2 of Gears 5 is divided into 5 chapters:

1. Recruitment Drive
2. Into the Wild
3. Forest for the Trees
4. The Source of It All
5. Dirtier Little Secrets

In the second act of Gears 5, the player will try to help Kait and Del convince the Outsiders to join the battle and visit the glacier to get the additional data needed to complete the mission.

Act 3

Act 3 of Gears 5 is divided into 4 chapters:

1. Fighting Chance
2. Rocket Plan
3. Some Assembly Required
4. One small step

In the third act of Gears 5, the player visits a vast desert, where they will try to get a rocket, and then transport it by train to the designated place. The final stage of act 3 of Gears 5 requires you to retrieve the Hammer of Dawn plans.

Act 4

Act 4 in Gears 5 is the shortest because it was divided into only 2 chapters:

1. Homefront
2. The Fall

During it, you will have the opportunity to collect the last four collectibles. The last chapter of Gears 5 ends with a battle with the main boss - Kraken.
