Delta team splits up after a new enemy appears - the hostile has turned the drones against the soldiers. Chapter 4 is the last part of Act 1 in Gears 5. At the end of this chapter, you will battle with the first boss.
Go down the stairs and enter the first building on the left. A component is in the dark room. Exit the building and follow the road. Enter the building on the right.
Inside, you will find another improvement for Jack - Medical. Jack can now temporarily enhance the armor of all team members within its range.
Go to the fire and use Jack's new ability. You can now go through the fire without losing health. Be quick - the shield has a limited duration time.
Stand in front of the building on the corner. Use the shield again. Then, go inside and collect another component. After that, go to the crash site of the helicopter. Be sure to activate the shield before you go through the fire.
A few enemies await you near the crash site. Hide behind the wall and eliminate all targets. After the battle, go through the area, open the gate and move on.
Get off the ramp, pass the car and go into a small storage room. Inside, you will find one of the collectibles - Memo to the staff of the Bomah hotel. Exit the room and go to the main section of the hangar.
Open the loading gate and collect another component that was hidden on top of the truck. Go to the next room.
Approach the stillage with carton boxes. There is another collectible item on the ground that, unfortunately, is easy to miss -Coalition dog tag: GEAR who died in the hotel.
Hotel Bomah
Hotel Bomah is a fairly extensive location with many surprises. In addition to several collectibles and components, you will encounter completely new opponents. In the laundry room (the first door to the right of the corridor), you will find another component.
As soon as you appear in the doorway leading to the kitchen, you will see a new enemy type. The led on its head suggests that if it gets too close, it will detonate an explosive device. Try to keep the enemy at a distance.
More sleeping robots are in the next room. You can get around them - you have to walk very carefully and keep a safe distance. Another way to make a safe transition is to perform stealth kills. Approach a robot from behind and use the melee attack. Go left.
One of the robots blocks the passage - you have to eliminate it. Approach it from behind and kill with a single attack.
Your goal is the door on the other side of the hotel lobby. Remember to walk very carefully - you don't want to alert the enemies. If you want, you can also eliminate all opponents quietly. Go through the door.
Another collectible is in a small niche on the left - A lost plush horse. Go upstairs.
Pick up the collectible lying on one of the tables - A leaflet for summer Settlement ? 2 reproductive. Get under the furniture on the left and get ready for battle.
The suicide robots will attack you in the dance hall. The attacks will follow one after another - the robots are incoming in waves. You have to be careful because robots will come from all sides. The exit from the hall is on the right. To open them, use the chainsaw. You will be attacked by 3 leeches. You have to react quickly - the opponents are very agile.
Going down the main passage of the hotel, you will face another big threat - a swarm of leeches. Stay away from them and keep shooting until the enemy is dead. Go to the street.
There are many enemies here. Besides a few weaker enemies, you will encounter a more resistant enemy armed with a machine weapon.
Next, you will face another swarm of leeches. Eliminating this threat should go much more effectively because you will have the support of other units. Replenish the ammunition and then go to the theater to meet with Marcus.
Theatre
The theater is another big location in chapter 4 of Gears 5. One of the components is in the small storage room. To get it, you have to ask Jack for help.
In the dressing room, you will find another collectible - Lyrics.
Another collectible is behind the stage in the studio - An old lighter. Go further into the room with the stage.
At the end of the room, you will find another collectible - Prop - a scroll with Kanon Octus. Pull the lever on the dashboard and get ready for battle.
A stronger enemy, equipped with a machine weapon, awaits you behind the curtain. You can kill him with a weapon, but it will take a very long time. The best option is to use grenades - 3 should be enough.
After the battle, you need to defend yourself from suicide mechs. Get off the stage and go through the door on the right. Watch out, there is another enemy behind the door.
The last component is in the small room with various levers. Go upstairs. Get ready for the battle with the main boss.
You will fight with a huge and very strong opponent. Regular shots from a pistol or rifle won't damage this enemy. Aim at the fiery pulsating spots marked in the picture above. A few accurate shots will cause an explosion that greatly reduce the creature's health. In the last phase of the fight, focus on the last burning spot to finish the enemy off.
