The first chapter of the first act of Gears 5 called "Shot in the Dark" has 7 collectibles: Weathered Spectacles, Onyx Guard Challenge Coin, Wellness Advisory Poster, COG Tags: Fallen Azura Gear, Chairman's Wristwatch, Lightmass Missile Strike Authorization, and UIR Hammer of Dawn blueprints.

Weathered Spectacles
When you start the game, turn right immediately and go towards the rocks protruding from the water. The spectacles are on one of them.
Onyx Guard Challenge Coin
After you have collected your first collectible, follow the path leading up, but go a little to the left. The second collectible is on the ground.
Wellness Advisory Poster
The next collectible is a little further away, in a dark room that looks like a changing room. When you enter it, look at the wall on the left and take the colorful poster.
COG Tags: Fallen Azura Gear
Before you go to the commander's office to follow the main mission, you should check the armory first. This collectible is lying on the ground.
Chairman's Wristwatch
After getting the collectible described above, move towards the commander's office and turn right to a small dark room. Go through it and enter the room that connects to it - the collectible is on the table.
Lightmass Missile Strike Authorization
This collectible is near the room where you have to let Dave get in the ventilation shaft to open the door. The document is on one of the consoles.
UIR Hammer of Dawn blueprints
While you are on the way to the commander's office, enter the room with several posters on the walls and plans scattered on the large table. The collectible is next to the globe.
