Pro Evolution Soccer / eFootball Video Game Series

One of the most popular series of sports games simulating soccer matches. The series was created by Konami and is known as Pro Evolution Soccer (Europe, North America) and World Soccer: Winning Eleven (Japan, South Korea).

Initially (between 1996 and 2001), the series was released exclusively for the PlayStation console as Goal Storm or International Superstar Soccer Pro. The current name of the series was introduced in 2001 with the release of the game Pro Evolution Soccer intended for PlayStation and PlayStation 2. In subsequent installments of the series, the publisher managed to expand the range of available hardware platforms to include PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii consoles and smartphones, among others.

Another annual entry in the popular soccer series by Konami. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 develops the ideas from the previous game. Real Touch +, a new system that is responsible for how players handle a ball, now takes more body parts into account. Thanks to that we can see animations that are much more different from each other when players receive a ball, hit it with their heads, dribble etc. Another important change is that matches are now slower which makes the game a little more realistic. Additionally, there is also strategic dribbling which gives more control over the ball and improved set pieces. Besides classic game modes, PES 2018 also brings back Random Selection Match mode which now has more options. Also, the game offers an online co-op mode for two or three people. The graphics are much better when compared with the previous games which means that the game on particular platforms aren't that different from each other.

A mobile version of the sports game Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The edition released for smartphones and tablets using Android and iOS was based on the popular myClub mode. The player gathers cards featuring footballers and uses them to build their dream team. The game gives an opportunity to take direct control of footballers during matches played against other users and when competing against the AI. The experience combines arcade elements with a bit of simulation and tactics. The application was created in cooperation with several large football clubs, including FC Barcelona, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. This allowed the developer to recreate the movement styles and appearances of top footballers with attention to detail (above all, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique). The game's visuals constitute its another advantage, as PES 2017 -Pro Evoluton Soccer- is one of the best-looking games of this kind available on mobile devices.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 is a sports game, a football simulator, released by Konami, from Japan. Contrary to its rival franchise - FIFA by Electronic Arts - Pro Evolution Soccer doesn't have the license of the International Football Federation, but makes it up with licenses for the Champions League, Europe League, and Europe Supercup. The 2017 edition introduces a slew of novelties, available only on the 8th generation consoles - PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. These are, among others, the Precise Pass system, responsible for behavior of the ball during passes, or Real Touch - the way the players control the ball. The game also allows setting advanced tactics and immediate changing of the attitude of our team from offensive into defensive. Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 offers different game modes for single and multiplayer. myClub makes a comeback in this part - building your own team - and Master League, with an overhauled system for negotiation transfers. Just like last year, the visuals were provided by Fox Engine.

Developed exclusively for Sony consoles, PES 2016 myClub is a narrowed down version of the latest installment of the renowned series of soccer games created by the Konami company, and features a free-to-play business model with microtransactions. The gameplay in Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 myClub is almost identical to the original version of the production; the developers have used the same solutions, as well as the exact same physics engine, namely the Fox Engine. The title offers only two game modes: Exhibition Mode and MyClub. The first one allows us to play a match with one of the seven available teams, such as: Bayern, Juventus, Roma or the national teams of Brazil and France. The MyClub mode allows us to build our own team from scratch, purchasing new players for points we have acquired during our playthrough or by spending MyClub coins, which can be bought for real money.

Another installment in one of the longest-standing and most popular soccer game series, whose consecutive iterations have been appearing since 1996, consequently developed by the Japanese company Konami. The 2016 edition, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the franchise, offers lots of innovations in addition to the usual wide array of options and play modes. First of all, opponents’ artificial intelligence in 1 on 1 duels, as well as its in-air play was improved, and new algorithms for goalkeepers were added. When it comes to the technical aspects, the game features significantly improved graphics, and, for the first time in the history of the series, dynamically changing weather. The in-game players received many new animations (including celebrations), and the ball physics and the collision system were enhanced. During the matches, you can listen to a duet of new commentators: Peter Drury and Marco Hagemann. For the first time in the series, the game features also European league cups, including Champions League, European League, and European Super Cup.

A mobile football manager and a spin-off of the famed Pro Evolution Soccer series developed by Konami. In contrast with the poorly-received 2014 edition, which was an attempt to compete with FIFA Ultimate Team, this time we are looking at a serious sports manager which offers more than 5000 licensed players from Europe and South America. In contrast to other football managers, PES Club Manager keeps to the football side of the sport – our duties include picking a team, tactics, and training schedule, as well as transfers. We are also responsible for the development of the club’s infrastructure: building stadium improvements, club center, offices, youngling schools, scouting agency, fan-club headquarters, medical center, or training fields. When it comes to graphics, the game employs a three-dimensional match engine, known from previous major installments of the series.

It was developed, as was the whole franchise and all the other installments in it, by the Japanese media giant, Konami. Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 traditionally offers an opportunity to lead top football clubs from all over the world to victory in subsequent tournaments: from league matches through various cups and ending with championships. In the latest PES Master League Online was replaced by the myClub mode, as a response to the Ultimate Team known from the FIFA series. The single player gameplay is complemented by a usual set of online modes that allow us to compete against players from all around the globe. Thanks to the capabilities of the 8th-generation consoles, the game's physics and graphics were improved, as were the AI algorithms and audience behavior.
