A mobile version of the sports game Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The edition released for smartphones and tablets using Android and iOS was based on the popular myClub mode. The player gathers cards featuring footballers and uses them to build their dream team. The game gives an opportunity to take direct control of footballers during matches played against other users and when competing against the AI.
PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- for AND and iOS is a free-to-play, mobile version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, developed by Konami. The game requires constant internet connection to work.
Mechanics
The game is a simplified edition of the full-fledged installment released for consoles; this mobile version is based on the myClub mode. The player creates their own teams making use of cards bought in packages for coins earned while playing or purchased through microtransactions. It is also possible both to search for interesting footballers and take part in auctions.
Using a team created, the player participates in matches placing them in direct control of footballers. The developer offers two ways of controlling the game - the player can use gestures and virtual buttons. Although the mechanics present are not as complex as in the regular edition and the in-game physics are not as advanced, PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- is very impressive and balances the arcade and tactical elements of the game appropriately within the capabilities of touchscreens.
Game modes
The game requires constant Internet connection to work, but this does not mean the in-game matches are played only against other users, since PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- offers competition against the AI. Apart from that, the game comes with two main multiplayer modes: Local Match and Online Match.

PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- for AND and iOS is one of the best-looking football games available for smartphones and tablets. The top footballers were recreated in the game with attention to detail; they perform moves and actions they are popular for. Animation is fluent and natural here.

PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- was created in cooepration with several famous clubs, such as FC Barcelona, Liverpool, or Borussia Dortmund. As a result, the player can hire such footballers as Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta or Gerard Pique.
