PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- for AND and iOS is a free-to-play, mobile version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, developed by Konami. The game requires constant internet connection to work.

Mechanics

The game is a simplified edition of the full-fledged installment released for consoles; this mobile version is based on the myClub mode. The player creates their own teams making use of cards bought in packages for coins earned while playing or purchased through microtransactions. It is also possible both to search for interesting footballers and take part in auctions.

Using a team created, the player participates in matches placing them in direct control of footballers. The developer offers two ways of controlling the game - the player can use gestures and virtual buttons. Although the mechanics present are not as complex as in the regular edition and the in-game physics are not as advanced, PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- is very impressive and balances the arcade and tactical elements of the game appropriately within the capabilities of touchscreens.

The game requires constant Internet connection to work, but this does not mean the in-game matches are played only against other users, since PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer- offers competition against the AI. Apart from that, the game comes with two main multiplayer modes: Local Match and Online Match.
