In the game, we control a 7-member party of heroes with varied magical abilities. The on-screen events are viewed from the first-person perspective. The Quest Keeper
RPG
March 31, 2015
The Quest Keeper is a free-to-play dungeon crawler developed by the creators of the grotesque arcade game Jungle Moose. In The Quest Keeper we play as an adventurer who decides to complete ten legendary quests. The game is visibly inspired by Crossy Road, not only in terms of voxel-based visuals and isometric perspective, but also when it comes to gameplay mechanics. Our character moves automatically, but unlike in Crossy Road, we move around the entire locations in the direction chosen by the player. Gameplay focuses on map exploration and avoidance of the traps located there. There are many types of traps we will encounter: drops and trapdoors, hordes of spiders, flying axes, blades and spikes erupting from the ground, and skeletons with bows. The extent of obstacles we will have to fave depends on the chosen map and on how far we managed to go. It is important to make sure we get to treasure chests. Gold which we get from them we can use to buy better equipment and special items that will make our adventures a bit easier.
Guild of Dungeoneering
RPG
July 21, 2016
A unique combination of a card game and a simple RPG created by Irish one-man studio Gambrinous. In Guild of Dungeoneering you play as a leader of a run-down adventurers' guild, and your task is to gain glory, gather riches, and take the competition down a peg. The gameplay is focused mostly on developing your guild's headquarters, adding new rooms and unlocking new character classes, equipment and magical items. In order to get money to spend on all of that, you have to send your heroes to do various quests in the dungeons. However, instead of controlling your hero, you build a labyrinth out of cards around them, and the hero moves in it as they please. The gameplay is divided into turns, during which you select dungeon and enemy cards. In case of encountering an opponent, combat begins and its result depends on both your hero's stats and the attack cards you play with.
