The game focuses on exploration of the said mansion, were each day is greeted with a different room arrangement.

The protagonist uses his unique ability to benefit the community, making friends among different yokai who can help him.

Shiftlings sees us assume control of two quirky aliens that take part in an intergalactic reality show hosted by Zookod, a charismatic presenter. We are given over 50 levels taking place on 5 different planets. Each level is filled with various riddles that often see us employ various laws of physics.
