Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Nimbatus: The Space Drone Constructor is a 2D dexterity simulator, in which we build more and more perfect drones from available parts. The player has to adapt the machine parameters to a specific mission using a special editor or take into account the annihilation of the drona by enemy robots. A bit of engineering inventiveness is also useful - in some tasks manoeuvrable scouts will perform better, while others require large combat platforms.

In Desolate the players assume the role of Volunteers who are sent to island Granichny to examine the paranormal activities and gather information required for removing the repercussions of a disaster that occurred there two years ago. The title can be played alone, although it becomes more interesting in four player cooperation mode.
Gunhead

A roguelike FPS, in which we play as a space pirate robbing alien ships. Gunhead tasks us with traversing procedurally generated vessels, gunning down everything in our way. It's a sequel to Cryptark and was developed by an indie studio Alientrap.
