Brothers in Arms: DS is another installment in a popular game series set in World War II. This production is a Nintendo DS exclusive, which is much different from other titles in the series. This time the developers from Gearbox Software did not prepare an FPS, but a third person perspective action game.

What did not change is the setting – the game again throws you into a world conflict in the years 1939-1945. As an American soldier, you take part in three campaigns consisting of 16 missions. You get to break German defenses in Normandy, fight in the deserts of North Africa, and fight off the Nazi counterattack in the Ardennes. You can make use of a wide selection of authentic weapons (rifles, grenades, etc.) and vehicles - including M4 Sherman.

The controls system combines use of physical buttons and the console’s touchscreen and stylus, which is very intuitive. Moreover, the graphical potential of NDS was used to create detailed 3D graphics. On top of that, there is multiplayer mode for up to four people via Wi-Fi.
