Missions Farming Simulator 17 Guide
Last update: 31 October 2016
You can complete quests at any time - they have nothing to do with the storyline, and are just an alternative form of making extra money. Your income can consist of couple or even dozens of thousands - it usually depends on the time required to complete a given quest. The estimated time is always enough to accomplish a task but completing it faster can grant you a bonus (up to 60% of the prize).
During your work, you will notice a green circle in the upper right corner (it represents your progress). One needs to reach 95% of a mission to complete it, so not following the instructions all the way through will not be a problem. You don't have to worry about fuel, resources and seed, as the paymaster covers all the expenses. The resources will be unlimited.
Once you start a mission, you have to finish it in one go. Thus, you cannot use other machines or devote yourself to other activities. If you exit the game, your progress will not be saved. However if you end a mission on purpose or by accident, you will not be punished. Quests in a given area will change eventually.
Advantages of completing quests:
- income,
- a chance to test new machines,
- lowering the price of the land by getting on good terms with the owner.
By working for a given person, you gain reputation - you will be able to purchase land for less money (not only a single lot but the entire land that belongs to the paymaster will have the price reduced). Thus, work for people who own terrain that you are eager to purchase in the future. Usually, after a single quest, the price can decrease by 5% which is very useful when it comes to very expensive lands. This decrease does not depend on the difficulty level and the time it takes to actually complete a given mission. Thus, try to complete many simple tasks, fastest of which are e.g. sprinkling. Always pay attention to the estimated time.
