Menu and monitoring Farming Simulator 17 Guide

Map view - your basic map can provide you with information on some basic places - markets, shops, inbreeding, and all lots with notifications what grows where (your land and others - when purchasing a land, you also buy the crop). You can also switch between vehicles. You can change the view to monitor growth and the current status of your soil (fertilization/tillage).
Prices - you will probably check those a couple of times a day. Your warehouse supplies and all the purchasing areas can be checked here. A green arrow means that the prices are going up - the prices are higher, so one should sell. A blue arrow means a special offer, way above the normal price. The market is dynamic, so selling products in one place can affects prices of other products in different places. Changes will occur throughout the day, and the most intensive moment is its ending.
Vehicles - here you can view all your vehicles and machines. The other table represents their running time in hours/days of work (not from the moment of purchasing it). The next one represents costs of maintenance related to the exploitation. Pay attention to this table - vehicles marked red have high cost of maintenance, and you will have to decide if you want to keep the machine (one should do it if you don't have enough money to buy a new one, until the exploitation cost reaches 1% of its price [renting cost]). The III column contains rented vehicles (if you have any), and the last one the price of a given device.
Finances - You can check your income/expenses here. It's wise to monitor this part often to check for any incorrectness (e.g. your employee got stuck or a vehicle needs to be replaced). You can also take loans - depending on the difficulty level, this can be from 200 to 100 k of debt (don't forget about the interest).
Animals - the last tab is crucial for inbreeding. You can monitor the productivity of your farm animals. Remember to clean them regularly, once every two days at least. You can also find tips on all the needs of specific farm animals.
