In the world of Elex, you use the currency called elexit. You begin your adventure with empty pockets but the cash is extremely useful on the planet of Magalan. Most importantly, you need it to buy new pieces of gear and pay for training new abilities. Elexit can be also used on some missions and often allows a player to solve certain situations without a bloodshed. For those reasons, one should take care of his funds – below, you can find several ways of earning elexit:

  1. Completing missions – for completing a mission, you earn several hundred shards of elexit (and for some missions, the reward can reach even thousands of shards), thus it is worth to regularly complete the assigned missions. This method goes hand in hand with trading – the mission objectives send the main protagonist to various locations, where he can obtain numerous items.

Trading is a good way of making money.
  1. Trade – vendors in Elex have unlimited amounts of cash and buy any item you want to sell. In this case, you should gather all the encountered items, even those of small value. Selling the ‘junk’ items can turn out to be quite profitable – provided you gather enough of them.
  2. Theft – the last way of earning elexit is quite dangerous and requires you to get an ability called Pickpocket (it allows you to steal from NPCs). Another useful ability is Lock Picking. Characters in the game often carry precious items (either with them or they keep it in their houses), thus stealing from them might prove profitable. Of course, you have to do it stealthily and remember that this kind of action is bound to displease all the nearby characters.
