Elex: Hardware Requirements
Elex has moderate minimum hardware requirements, as it can be run on a PC with a mid-tier i5 processor, 6GB RAN, and GeForce 570-class GPU. It is also a title that will demand quite a lot from your rig if want to run it smoothly on highest visual settings. Luckily, the optimization is rather decent in this one, and there are many visual options to that will allow you to tailor your visuals for a smooth gameplay no matter what happens on the screen. In our case, we’ve easily managed to run the game in constant 60fps at 1080p resolution.

Our rig
The guide has been prepared for the PC version running on the following rig:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3,5GHZ 6MB
- RAM: 8GB DDR3 HyperX 1866MHZ Fury Black
- GPU: Asus Strix-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5
- GPU memory: 4GB
This configuration enabled us to run the game in 60fps at 1080p. Individual visual options were set to either medium or high (the most taxing ones). We experienced no slowdowns, even when crossing larger locations, and short-time frame rate drops were encountered only when multiple fire and/or smoke effects appeared on the screen simultaneously.
