Remember Me. 15 good games players rarely see through

Table of Contents

Release date: June 4, 2013

IN A NUTSHELL
  1. Platforms: PC, PS3, X360
  2. Developer: DONTNOD Entmt
  3. Genre: action / TPP

I think very few people expected that, despite mixed reviews, this title would last so long in our memory. I think it's because of its uniqueness. After all, not everyday players are served cyberpunk vibes in almost hack'n'slash sauce, because the way the main character dispatches opponents is truly memorable. Remember Mewas distinguished from the competition by its design and unique atmosphere, which is characteristic of works created by French game developers. This "Frenchness" has accompanied many titles published by Infogrames or Microids over the years, and more recently, the people at DONTNOD draw from it in spades.

The game is not long, but later battles can be a bit tedious, hence the poor completion results. Especially on the PlayStation 3, which is a bit surprising, after all, it's a very console-oriented game. It's a shame, but I'm sure that in a few years, this title will be rememberd as a hidden gem that's was lost somewhere between bigger positions.

Did you know that the old-school Another World, a game that can be finished in about one hour the first time around and in less than twenty minutes with each subsequent playthrough, was completed by only 18.6% of players? That means more than 80% of buyers haven't seen the iconic ending with a winged beast flying away while carrying Buddy and injured Lester on its back.
