Red Dead Redemption is one of those sandboxes, where lovers of unconstrained fun and fans of a strong, thought-provoking story can meet for a few rounds of Guarma Rum. Incredibly accurate representation of historical reality and natural environment makes this game so much more than just GTA with horses. Each of the three installments of the series was a bit different.

So far, we were takein into the world of RDR in film only once – in the year of the premiere of the first part, a short animation with John Marston, Seth Briars and Nigel West Dickens was released. The production was directed by John Hillcoat. However, the title never became widely known, and the convention did not quite fit well with the game's storyline.

If a full-length live-action film were to ever be made, at least one of the three parts of the trilogy would have to be directed by Clint Eastwood. The 93-year-old director, recently fired from Warner Bros., is an icon of Western. In addition, we could be sure that the film would not be just a western movie. The RDR movie could also benefit from the involvment of Jane Campion. It wouldn't have to be a second 18×16 svgThe Power of the Dog, but the creator of this class could get out of RDR2 what Eastwood wouldn't in the first installment. The culmination of the trilogy could take place in cooperation of two legends of cinema. And yes, I know, getting them to do it would be one heck of a challenge.
